But anyway, yeah like I was saying above we're currently writing on 87 and she's definitely behaving more than ever before... I mean I'm hesitant to say one can of seafoam helped that fast... So I'll definitely be doing the aerosol then we'll probably run another can through the tank as well.

You be surprised on how seafoam cleans. It's sometimes very fast acting...

Another day of no pinging from what I can tell. Going to try to do the aerosol seafoam treatment tonight.

I know that there's no point in doing it through the vacuum booster hose, where should I actually do it from?

The intake throttle body. You get that sea foam hose in there and put intake hose back on. Get it running and spray it in there. It's easier with 2 people.

Sudden horrible pinging (v6)

My 96 and 97’s have two ports on the top of the throttle body that will have vacuum (ported vacuum) when the throttle plate is opened.

You need to give it throttle anyway.

Yes. You can take those covers off and put a vacuum hose on it and attach the vacuum hose to the sea foam can and inject it that way. Making it a 1 person job instead of 2.

You’ll still probably need to pinch the hose to control the flow so you don’t stall it.

That can I posted says to spray it into the TB at 1200-1500 rpm and when the can is almost done to stall the engine with it and let it sit 30min.

It is fun smoking out the neighborhood.
