Replace master cylinder or use repair kit?

Hi,

I have attached a few photos to paint a better picture of the issue. The brakes have not been working too well, which led me to undertake this exercise. As far as I can tell the rubber seal (?) on the second/ rear piston has a tear, and that's the culprit.

The 4R has close to 250 K miles on it.

Which course of action would you recommend?

1.) Replace the master cylinder - $115 (all inclusive).
Centric (ABS, with new reservoir)

2.) Replace the piston assembly - $94 (all inclusive)
Genuine Toyota
Genuine OEM Brake Master Cylinder Repair Kit For Toyota 0449330232 | eBay

3.) Something else? Maybe just replace the piston seal/ seals? From reading past threads, this didn't seem to be an option.

Please let me know if you have any points of clarifications, or if you want to see other photos. This is not my daily, but I will be undertaking a road trip in two weeks.

Thanks for reading.

Thanks for suggesting this. I have looked at the part. 2 questions:

1.) Is this part OK to use with ABS? most of the rockauto entries list "with ABS" or "without ABS". This one doesn't list either.

2.) Is there a reason you are suggesting this course of action, other than it's simpler, etc.? I am curious and want to learn more.

Thanks for your time.
