Aluminum Skid Plate Reviews?

Looking to install a full set of aluminum skid plates and see there are a couple of choices in manufacturers. Here are the companies I have found:

3RD GEN 4RUNNER Tagged "SKID PLATES" - RA Motorsports Canada

1996-2002 4Runner Archives - Coastal Offroad

Front Skid Plate | 4Runner (96+), GX (03+) & FJ - Victory 4x4

Anyone have input on these products?

Just remember that aluminum is always going to be a compromise. Yes they are lighter bit they won't take the abuse that steel will. Personally my full set of steel skids did not make a noticable difference in any metrics for me. Cheaper too.

I went with aluminum. I chose it for how I prefer to tackle obstacles.
Steel can withstand more repeated abuse. If one encounters an obstacle and chooses to power on over (nothing wrong with that) on a regular basis then steel might be the better option.
If/when I encounter a similar (or the same) obstacle I try to find a different line. I look for the path of least resistance.
