Bad mystery noise...no longer a mystery

A flange to hold the exhaust? It makes quite a bit of noise when slamming into the front u joint section of the drive shaft. Thanks for your help.

That looks like a busted gas tank strap with the pin to hold it in. In the above photo. Not a exhaust flange.

The only thing holding your tank is 1 bolt in the front skid and your skid plate with that strap gone. So yes you may want to investigate a little further before the gas tank comes loose.. ;)

What he said. I'm thinking it took some violence to break that thing, so that fuel skid my be hanging on by a fingernail. Get under there now!
