I really haven't driven it enough to check mileage. My ultragauge was indicating about 14.5 mpg during the limited test drives, which is almost exactly what I had before.

My cleaned OEM injectors came back from MotorWest Performance:



Back in they went:



And lo and behold, the LTFT is back to normal:



Here is a side by side between OEM (left) and Osidetiger (right) injectors. All data is basically the same, except for the LTFT.



So everything is right with the world again, yay. I will check for fuel in the TB after some driving, but I am guessing there won't be any.

Just for kicks, I brought this up to Charlie at Osidetiger. Not surprisingly, he just told me that they sold many of these and never had a problem. I'm guessing most of his customers don't check LTFT or look for fuel in the TB . Again, I'm not surprised that he won't take these back (even though they have 50 miles on them), but I find his lack of curiosity or interest in feedback on his product quite disappointing.

Oh well, we can put a bow on this and move on to other things.

You and me both, that's $300 down the drain, let alone all the time and aggravation of figuring out the issue and doing the job twice.

In the end, I'm happy having my OEM injectors back in, it just looks and fells right - and the LTFT numbers don't lie.

Minor. Just shows us that engineering on the injectors of OEM is as close to perfect as one can get. [ granted clean and fully functional] This really doesn't surprise me. Bummer on loss of $300 though. You also proved once again that it's best to stick with oem parts.

It’s pulling fuel trims to get back to optimum 14.7AF because of the higher flowing injectors.
