Rounded brake line nut

Hey guys, tryin to replace my brake lines from the original rubber ones to some braided stainless steel ones I found online. The rear one is giving me trouble and I can’t seem to remove it. The nut has completely rounded off. Was using a 10 mm flare nut wrench with no help and then I moved onto the vice grips without much help. Can I just cut the brake line, replace the fitting and re-flare the line?
I have a 98 limited 4x4. Thanks guys

You could cut the line, then use a socket/ratchet to remove the old nut, and use these ''soft'' brake lines that you can form with your hands (that also don't rust anymore) to make a new line. These work with your normal flaring tool kit. They have these lines at autopart and sell them in rolls. I think they are made of nickel and copper.

I personally would be in great fear to re-bend the same line to fit, as it seems to be your intent, as they have a tendency to be rusty already.

I could go get some of these “soft” lines, just in case, and try straightening the old line to re-flare it and if it breaks, oh well, I’ll still have this new line that will work. That sounds like a good idea.
