Rust in cargo floor - patch panel?
Anyone know where I can get a patch panel for this? This is the passenger side rear cargo area, just behind the rear wheel well.
I think this is going to consume my life until I can fix it.

Where are you seeing it in stock? My normal parts sources are saying it's discontinued.

Whale, ToyotaPartsDeal just canceled my order because that part is out of stock and discontinued, but I think I have a line on some donor parts trucks I can try to cut patches out of.
In the mean time, it's at least sealed:

Looks like an interior leak? The inside looks worse than the outside...

Mostly the wheel wells get holes in them along the seam. I have one that did that and rotted the entire behind tire well out.
To me, that looks like salt water damage from surf boards for the area effected.
That area in all of mine is still intact. Granted, I could be wrong...

I actually called to make sure tpd could get that part, before putting it out on this site. And I was assured that part is available.
Sorry tpd did that to you.
You can also try Amayama.com. Then again, it could be the same result as tpd.

I'd bet money that's EXACTLY what happened. My sister owned this thing for like 15 years and it's spent a lot of time with longboards shoved through the rear window.

I'll give Amayama a try too. Thanks for doing all that legwork though!

I seen tpd do this from time to time. They even discontinue bolts on occasion.

I was thinking about that too.
The recycle yards used to have at least five 3rd gens at any given time. Now, it takes weeks for one to arrive.
I wish I had the acreage, I would love to have a parts truck. It would come in handy in op situation.
