Absent for a lot of years.
Just wondering.... Is anyone left on here that was here three or four years ago, or did most move on to other vehicles?
Anyone remember me?
Thanks!

I joined here in mid 2020
I also remember using your build thread for inspiration at the time.
Nice to see you back!

A lot of the "still active" forum members have been around at least that long. Welcome back.

Ten years this month. I don't comment a lot because my truck is stock and
it doesn't break. Much. Just got it back from getting the a/c compressor
replaced. But it's nothing like the Euro luxo-sedans I've owned.

Always good to see the OG's post on here from time to time!
Im sure some moved on to better tech. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Yes, I remember reading through your threads before.
Hope you can continue with that on here.
Great to see your take on AK!

I also remember you posting AK trip photos and something about a potential move to AZ a few years ago, if I’m not mistaken? Some of us that have been around a while don’t post regularly, but still check in from time to time.

Thanks everyone. I'm still knee deep in landscaping and getting my property how I want it. The 4Runner will take a back seat for a few more months. I have a neighbor who can help with some frame rust I found before I put it in storage. Nitto has came out with a new tire called the Recon Grappler and it has a few sizes that has caught my eye. I may look to change my 35s for something close to a 34x11. I will still have the size, but a bit narrower. I may be able to take my body lift out. I was interested in changing my back bumper to a duel swingout, but CBI doesn't seem to make bumpers for us anymore and I can't find Savage anymore. I looked at the bumper thread and it hasn't been updated in a while so we will see what options I have later on. Besides that, I think I will change my heads out since I blew out a sparkplug 5 or 6 years ago. After those changes, I'll look to less maintenance items and look for add-ons.
I won't be on here everyday, but hope to keep adding to my thread when I take trips and such.
Thanks everyone!

Savage is unfortunately out of business, and CBI stopped making 3rd gen products in like 2021 I think. Very unfortunate!

Same story, but 13 years on here. Lots of maintenance, and only one fail (rear window key switch).
Euro luxo comment hits home - I stretched a valve cover gasket-only job on my 21 year old S6 across a week it's so painful to work on.

I remember you. The forum is slowly dying though. Not nearly as much activity as there was a few years ago.
