Good mod! Note that this will only work if you have an open or selectable diff in the front. Otherwise you’ll be running 3WD.

Having manual hubs I agree that 2LO is very handy. Especially with a manual! I use it in driveways and drivethrus often

It's not 3wd if you have ADD. With ADD disconnected it will just spin the carrier and the disconnected shaft. And not transfer power to the driver tire.

You and JZiggy just said the same thing in different ways. JZiggy's point was that this method doesn't work if you have a traction device in the front diff. I almost said the same thing as you, but reread what he said before posting.

Been using 2Low for another season of backing my boat up my driveway in reverse. Really makes the process so much easier. No more having to slowly give it more and more gas in 2Hi until it lurches back. Can now make much more precise adjustments as I maneuver the boat back into its spot around the side of my house.
