Is there new part # for 4th gen Bilstein 5160 rear shocks? (Old #25-227611?)

Hey I plan on purchasing and installing the 4th gen 4runner Bilstein 5160 rear shocks in my 3rd gen. During my research the only part number that I read about was #25-227611. So I went to the Bilstein website to purchase them, but right above the product description I noticed a link for a "New Version" of the same shock with a different part number (#25-311211_25-325096_n2). Apparently there is an updated version. I'm not exactly sure what the physical difference is because the product descriptions provide no technical information. But they do mention "enhanced cooling capacity and wheel travel for optimal performance". Yay! Both shocks have matching compressed and extended lengths, and that's what I'm mostly concerned about. But in my life experience whenever a business creates a new version of an existing product, it's never as good as the previous one. So I'm leaning towards the #25-227611 shocks. Also I can't find any info on the new part number being swapped into Gen 3s. So does anyone have any knowledge in this area? Can anyone tell me which are the correct shocks to purchase? Thanks.

Ok I contacted Bilstein and apparently there is not really any difference. When I asked them what the difference is between the two, this is their exact reply "just some slightly modified box and body look (almost unnoticeable)". Apparently that is all it takes for them to justify a price increase from $498 to $590. Basically there is no difference, except for the price. I will be purchasing the old version (part #25-227611). Hope this helps others.
