Exclamation Needing Help! Digital Climate Control half working

I'm at a loss

My digital climate control had the typical issues about a year ago. I sent it in to be "reconditioned" and it worked great. Even put in some blue leds.

Recently, in a misguided attempt to bring the truck back to stock look, I bought some new green leds and put them in. For some reason, the smaller neo-wedge A bulbs (for the knobs/buttons) lit up just fine, but the neo-wedge B bulbs (screen) did not. Maybe duds, right? I put the blue ones back in, which had just been working with no issue, and they wouldn't light up either. AND, the small indicator leds (show a/c, auto, type is "on") also aren't lighting up!

I've tried the leds in every direction. I even bought a new ribbon cable thinking I had damaged my original in the back-and-forth.

I'm losing my marbles. Does anyone have any idea why the screen leds (neo-B) and the little surface -mounted indicators would suddenly not work? Please, any help from someone with electrical knowledge. I cringe to think I bricked my climate control somehow. Thank you!!

This is why I leave the stock bulbs in...;) sorry to hear these leds are not working. Leds are diodes and will only light one way. If they are 180 degrees out they will not. May not be your issue but I figured I mention it. all my rigs are analog so I don't have any with digital controls.

Update: Climate Control has been resuscitated!

I reached out to @JRZEE2000TR4LTD who helped previously when my digital climate control had the common issue with unresponsiveness and sporadic functionality. I sent my unit to him and he was able to diagnose the issue as a led, wrong size in one of the buttons, had blown some kind of capacitor on the board. After taking the time to explain the issue and needed repairs, he hooked me up and I received a fully repaired climate control in the mail a couple days later.

Surely everyone knows by now, but if you have a digital climate control in your 4Runner and need repair work, I can't recommend @JRZEE2000TR4LTD enough.

Thank you!
