Quick Question - Will a Set of Tires fit inside 4runner? to transport.

I'm having someone drive my vehicle from 6 hrs away today. I have a set of spare tires there. If I remember correctly they are 1 step up in size, or maybe they are stock, not sure. They are not giant or largely oversized but they are not small.

Will a full set of tires fit inside a gen3 for him to bring those to me?
Should he put the seats up or down flat? I can't find the bed dimensions or I'd attempt to figure it out. I'm fairly sure you can stack 2 on top of each other but not sure. If you can't stack them I don't think they'd fit at all.

I just found a post that says 6' x 4.5' (minus wheel wells), I'll draw that up.

I will have someone there follow up but don't want to bother them if it's not going to work. Thanks!

Yes, of course, if there aren't people in the back. I've taken 4 tires at once before and I think 5 will also fit.

at 31" dia. x 11" tall, it seems like you could stack them in the center on top of each other no worries?

Pretty easily if you fold the seats down:

You can probably do it with up to about 35's...

You can stand them up and roll a gang of tires in there, too.

Edit - but I don't care about a scuffed interior.....

Beaut's!

they got 'em loaded up without a problem. Was already asking a favor and didn't want them to get jammed up.

Thanks everybody for the replies!
