So did I. I just know when guessing on what it maybe it's not best to guarantee things. The mechanics know what doing where this guy taking it too Brainstorming ideas and here comes the videos to a member who doesn't work on his rig doesn't have attention on working on his rig.

Where the other half of your transmission video coming out?

You just about out of things to do videos on. Then what are you going to do?

Ever work on the newer engines with vvti and all the electronics. Maybe you can expand out to modern vehicles or you tube channel may fade away.

That's what you love and enjoy doing. It's your thing and I given you credit for your videos here and on Facebook.

I ask only one thing. Please don't whine and complain when nobody is liking and commenting on your videos. You done this serveral times already. It makes it look like your more focused on attention on yourself then the content and the videos that you create.

Hopefully you can accomplish this before you chase more people away from this forum.

I know people that have left because of your attitude and behavior in here.

I have had people personally contact me about this.

So whatever. I am considering leaving this forum myself just like other have because of you Tim.

Great Job striking the forum even more that's a great accomplishment to have achieved..

I’ve personally benefited from both of you guys (Tim & Jon) over the years and would hate to see either of you leave this excellent forum.
You both have made massive contributions and helped as well as encouraged many of us through head scratching problems with our rigs. There are some projects I would not have taken on if not for Tim’s easy to follow detailed videos as well as Jon’s advice and running thread on maintaining/repairing his small fleet of 3rd gens.
We all have different approaches and personalities which in my opinion adds to the fun of the forum.
Apologies to @lucidberries as I didn’t mean to hijack this thread but wanted to thank both guys for their constant help & contributions.

Yes I need to apologize to the Op as well. As my frustration with Tim shouldn't have spilled into this thread. I don't know how to reach people that are coming across as know it alls and have attitude issues. It's actually not good for the members.

It's off topic to his back brake issues.

We just have to do something here as when people are leaving the forum because of this. Something has to change.

I wasn't even allowed to disagree and brainstorm ideas on this brake issue.

Which could even be slight play in the outer wheel bearing causing the occasional contact.

This is not how forums are supposed to work. When people are telling me privately that a member is obnoxious and they are acting bizarre it needs to be dealt with.

I tried to reach Tim but he not understanding how he coming across to a pile of people.

I figure it's just best for me to move on. Like Lots of other people did and not worth it to me.

I was only ever here to try to help members fix their rigs. Yes I was wrong at times and that needed to be corrected. I never had issues with that part at all. It's how everyone learns.

Best of luck to all...

You really are pathetic Jon. I called you out on that other thread about the engine harness plug because it was astonishing to me how you first spouted off a totally incorrect response, then totally disregarded my contribution to the subject matter, and also missed my exchange with Charlie who was confirming what I said was accurate. Now that I know how you really feel about me, it makes sense. The slight was intended.

Kind of funny you bringing up the word "Whining" when you were acting like a crying little baby when I called you out for your blunder and used some language that hurt your wittle feelings. You even threatened to report me to the Admins because you can't fight your own battles.

My comment about the lack of engagement on my video posts is due to my disappointment that the forum attendance has died off. It was way more fun when there were more contributing members. It would be the same for people who put a lot into their Build Threads sharing Sic Mods and then get no discussion from it. A big part of the enjoyment of being a member of a forum like this is the exchange of comments and information. I'm very proud of the videos I'm able to share with the Toyota DIY Automotive Mechanic Community. This is part of the reason I also post my videos on Toyota Facebook groups because the engagement there is much better. People commenting or giving a like lets me know what I'm doing is reaching people and is worthwhile.

Don't worry Jon. I had Part 2 of the R150F Transmission Rebuild edited and ready weeks ago. My buddy Sean recently got married and that took priority over him finalizing the project. I do all the rough cuts to get the content and flow I want and then Sean gets the project and makes it much nicer to watch.

Am I running out of things to make videos on? I just have to laugh on that one and it clearly states to me you know very little about what Sean and I do. We don't just work on 3rd Gen 4runners. We've done videos on 1st Gen 4runners, 4th Gen 4runners, 5th Gen 4runners, FJ Cruisers, FJ 80 Land Cruisers, 100 Series Land Cruisers, 1st Gen Tundras, 2nd Gen Tundras, 1st Gen Seqoias, Lexus LX470s, Lexus GX470s. So No Jon, we aren't running out of content. We never will. Also, unless there's an apocalyptic event and the internet ceases to exist, my videos will live on long after you and I are both dead.

If people left the forum because of me, that's on them, and their weak-minded for doing it. I don't have that much power Jon, especially over the internet. It's not like I'm some bully in a school play yard getting in people's faces and pushing them around. We're all adults here. The overwhelming majority of the exchanges I've had with people on this forum have been positive and I've helped out a tremendous amount of people with my videos and commentary on this forum. I've just had my moments where I've butted heads with certain members who are wound a little tight, like you. I've got a strong personality and it doesn't jive with some people.

Off the top of my head, I can count on one hand the guys I've butted heads with on this forum. There's You, of course. There was Bad Luck who took offense to me claiming the forum was dying off. There was BigFishAllDay who didn't like that I posted my videos so much. And, there was Speedy who talked shit to me saying nobody would watch our Supercharger video because it was too long.

I haven't been that active on the forum over the last few years because of the fact the number of contributing members has died off. I tend to go in waves. Pretty soon, I won't be frequenting it that much because I'll lose interest like I've done many times since I've joined.

I'm guessing Bad Luck was the one of the people you were having a Timmy shit-talking session about because I haven't seen him contribute in a while.

So, I don't know what else to say Jon. Big Bad Timmy will probably continue to contribute here. If you decide to leave, that's on you.

Chill! Let's keep our knowledgeable members! Bad luckers was mean to me too several times, which is fine with me, he keeps me on my toes and must be my fanatic. Although he's always leaving negative comments and getting me warned by the website somehow.. I actually corrected some of his information with concrete knowledge and got in trouble 😂

My God, are you a BABY! It's called debate Jon. Sometimes debate is vigorous. That's all it was on this guys thread. You shared your idea of what the problem was and I disagreed. You heartily disagreed with my opinion too on what the problem was using your "Parts Cannon" comment more than once. Did you hear me whining about how I was unable to share my opinion on what the problem is? No, you didn't. We both got to share our opinions. You just can't handle people checking you on your posts. I think a lot of people just give you a pass. I guess you read between the lines of my posts and have figured out I don't really like engaging with you on this forum, and I also don't consider your contributions as gospel. Hate to break it to you Jon, not everyone likes you and you're not always right. Not everyone like me either and I'm wrong plenty of times.

You act like you're some Forum Confidant and people are flooding in with personal messages to you complaining about me. I tend to think you're WAY overstating this fact and it's pretty much a couple guys you've had knitting sessions with bashing me.

Anyway, leave the forum if you want Jon. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. I'm going nowhere, unless I get banished by the Admins, and I don't feel I've earned being canceled having a disagreement with one member. I'm certain you have by now made an attempt with the Admins to get rid of me, so I won't be surprised if I hear something from them.

Well this is a major bummer. I've received an immense amount of good 3rd Gen technical information from these two members Jon and Tim. I'm guessing most other members think the same.

He'll get over it. This forum is big enough for the both of us. When I know I have issues with a certain member, I do my best to avoid them.

This thread is a good example of me trying to practice avoidance. My first post was Post #10. In my post, I didn't mention anything about what Jon said previously with his posts. I just shared my opinion on what the most likely culprit for the problem was. Now look a Jon's Post #12 where he disagrees with what I said. In Post #17, I'm directing a comment directly to the OP, but who comes in on Post #18 to further discuss how I'm wrong and he's right? It's not until Post #21, that you can tell I'm getting annoyed with Jon. Then in Post #26, he insults my level of knowledge. The result of Jon's actions is the gloves come off. If he's going to talk shit to me, it's game on.

Jon is anything but The Innocent Little Victim he's trying to portray himself as.

You and I have had our disagreements in the past over a multitude of topics, but I'm not sure why you are bringing me into this. Did I do something recently to you?

I've been really swamped between work, home remodel, cabinet building, and 4Runner maintenance so I haven't had much down time at work to browse the forums.

I was making an assumption because I hadn't seen you comment in a while and Jon was insinuating I've scared people away from this forum and I thought one of them might have been you. You've done nothing recently to me. We're all good. Sorry for dragging your name into our pissing match.

Seems pretty obvious due to the rotational nature yeah my thoughts exactly.

I just noticed your from BC. I have no clue how much you have to deal with rust, but I have seen problems with rust on axle/hub faces causing wheels/rotors/drums to not seat perfectly causing them to wobble. Might be something worth checking to see if where the axle shaft and drum touch is free of rust/debris buildup. There's also a very slim chance your axle shaft could have bent at the end causing a similar effect, but I would expect that to have made noise prior to drum replacement. Hopefully you can figure it out soon and make sure to let us know the results!
