Trasfer Case Switch

My 2001 4runner is currently stuck in 4H. The light on my dash blinks continuously.

Here is what I did today.. I removed the two switches that are located right by the actuator and checked both of them for continuity. one of them read 0.3 ohms which is perfect. The other reads in the Megaohms. If the switch is good, it should read much lower than in the megahoms correct?

I have been searching for this all over and finally stopped here to ask. Thanks for the help. Cheers.

You are correct. Closer to zero ohms is a good indicator. mega ohms replace it.

Thanks for the reply. I ordered a new switch last night and will report back if it fixes my issue.
