Freshening up the powertrain at 280K. 2 of the injectors are new; darn if I can tell which.
No one around seems to "clean and refurbish" injectors. Where do you all get you injectors from? Prices are all over the place form $50 for 6 to $90 a pop.
I would VERY MUCH prefer to run a small Holley 4 barrel but....fabricating a single 4 barrel dual plane intake for a 5VZ is a bit beyond my fab stills.

MotorWest Performance offers a cleaning and flow testing service based in CA. They also sell a Denso replacement set of 6 for about $55-$60/ injector. I had the time to pull the injectors, send them out and the turn around was prompt. Cost me about $150 to refurbish all 6. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again the next time I need them. There are other options out there, this just worked well for me.
Glad you found a place. I also have a local place who used to run a shop but now does it out of his garage. Does a full refurb and flow testing and matching.

I use RC Fuel Injection here in Southern California.
If you have the time, cleaning/reconditioning the stock injectors is the safest bet.

I pulled a set of OEM injectors from a salvage yard and sent them off to Witch Hunter Performance to be cleaned and refurbished. When they were returned to me, I swapped them out with the injectors in my truck. Minimized down time that way.
Another +1 for MotorWest Performance; just installed 6 new injectors this week. They sent the injectors with fresh rings and isolators, and even included some lube to install them with.
RC injectors- They were a bit slow for me though...took 3-4 full days from receiving the injectors to shipping them out. Otherwise, their service was fine...
I'm still runing the stock injectors with about 233k miles now, they've never been "refurbished". I'm assuming most guys are sending theirs out to be serviced due to a problem they are having but is anyone sending theirs out just to be freshened up?
If so, after how many miles and did it make any difference in performance, MPG or otherwise?
Thanks

Another plug for Motorwest Performance. Received the rebuilt injectors with new screens, o-rings, etc in 5 business days. They included the old parts in a separate bag to show you what they replaced, was impressed. They will get my business again when I complete this job on another truck this summer.
Side note- Would behoove anyone to order 6 new injector female connectors when completing this job. 4 out of 6 of the clips broke on the connectors when we depressed them.
