Help with kid's car: No. 6 cylinder is dead, disconnect injector?

2002 3.4 started misfiring, running rough, CEL flicker 2 days ago. Compression is No. 6 cylinder is 75 PSI.

4Runner is my kid's car, he works full time and has a full class load at college. He needs to drive it until we can get it repaired. It will take a few weeks to find and install a replacement motor. I would like to disconnect the No. 6 injector, so fuel doesn't ruin the cat converter.

I have watched vids on removing the intake manifold to replace the injectors. Is there enough room under the intake to reach in and unclip the No. 6 injector? I need to take enough parts and tools to his apartment to get this done.

Any ideas and advice would be much appreciated!

Taking the plenum off would he the best bet. it's fairly simple and doesn't take much time. you can reuse the plenum metal gaskets.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. If the metal gaskets can be re-used, I would only need these, right?

Those are the metal plenum gaskets. Don't have to disconnect the throttle body from the top plenum. Disconnect the intake the vacuum hoses and the accelerator cables from the throttle body. Would be able to lift the top plenum off with the throttle body still attached to it.

If you mean under the plenum so you can do it without dismantling, not in your wildest dreams
It doesn't take very long to take off the plenum though. Working slow and unfamiliar it shouldn't take more than two hours to get it off, and that's being real generous. Once you're familiar with it it's non hassle at all. I just had to get to my injectors the other day and I think I had the plenum fully off in about 45 minutes tops, with most of that trying to reach those pain-in-the-ass 10mm hidden here and there.
Disconnecting the injector would be the right move, otherwise you're gonna be filling the crank case with fuel vapors - and that's when the real fun begins. If he drives it hard and for a while it might develop a knock, but if you're replacing the motor anyways that's hardly a concern.
