So with this in mind, am I utilizing the diagnostic port that’s under the hood and NOT the OBD-II port for this? I’ve watched a few videos on that but they’ve all used the OBD port with a wire.
I also disconnected my front passenger ABS sensor yesterday and tried reading it with a voltmeter but I got zero response from it. I didn’t try the driver side though.

You have to use the underhood diagnostic port to flash abs codes. Also, if you were using a voltmeter with the wheel speed sensor side you will only be able to read ac voltage if the wheel is spinning.
