Good points. I’d like to do my shocks and coils and give the truck a little higher ride from its (probably) shrunken height on the original suspension. I’d also like to run maybe a 1/2 inch spacer.
But before I dive into that upgrade, I just want to make sure that there are not other areas of the vehicle that need attention. Because I’ll happily spend the money there before I do the suspension because the suspension is still fine. It’s just original, and I’d like something a little higher.
So all in all, the truck is running great. But I don’t want to dump a few grand into new suspension only to discovery 6 months down the road that I really should have spent the money doing X, Y and Z because they needed to be done. But right now I just don’t know what X, Y and Z is. Or if they even exist. Maybe my truck is fine and in good shape and I can spend the money on the “nice to haves” like a suspension upgrade. I’m just not sure.
I have a full service history on the truck so maybe I should just check this forum for all the “should do” items and see when mine were done. Then I can find a baseline for what I should spend money getting upgraded.
