Yeah somebody there was listening. It might be 3 plys of butter but it's better than 2, i suppose. There are 3 Sumitomo (Falken) plants - Buffalo, Japan, and Thailand. I was hoping for the first 2 but whatever....

I didn't realize you get the Three Peak Mountain Snowflake on these tires. That alone makes them intriguing for me. My A/T3W's didn't have that when I bought them years ago. Time to upgrade!

Tire weight can tell of tire construction a comparison with Cooper ST Maxx E same size
Faulken C's a pound lighter there be some beef in those C's that a good sign.

3 ply sidewall load C's are awesome on the 3rd gen. Love mine. Such a better experience for n ride and power. I was super excited about the KO3 in 285/75/17 in C..... but it looks like we get to wait until 2026 for that tire....

The Toyo and nitto options I like are all 66 lbs....

It really sucks that there isn't much to choose from on a load C tire. I wouldn't even mind a standard load tire if they did it in 3 ply sidewall, but no one does it sadly...

I wished I could get a 265 wide, 33-34" tall load C tire on the sub 60 lbs range on a 16" wheel. It just doesn't exist which sucks.

May have to take a serious look at these AT4's. I want an MT, but have a hard time getting excited about the the weight penalty from 17" wheels and 66-72 lb tires. It would be a 25-30 lbs jump on each tire...

285/70-17 are the only K03 C's available right now. I was hoping to wait for the 265/70-17's, but those are still a year away... New K02's (LRC) it is!

Kinda thinking it'd been better if this thread had started 10 days earlier
Wouldn't have 4 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T 285's stacked in garage.

The MT baja boss is a great tire. I'm running them in 265/75r16. No issues so far, awesome traction in dirt, though they do pick up lots of little pebbles. So bring a screwdriver to pop them out after your off road trip.

I wish they made them in 255/85r16 though. As there was only m/t's available in the cookie cutter size, I opted for the baja boss.

Don't feel bad - i wish I still had MTs but I didn't use them off road enough and the tread turned into a hot mess with my lacking in the rotation dept, too. They were so loud at the end and went CLACK...CLACK...CLACK as I pulled up to a stop.

Not knocking baja's or purchase 3 ply C pizza's vs 80#+ on the corners for a change.
Thanks, Amp gain adjustment screwdriver 9/32 blade x 9" under driver seat next to amp dual purpose

Patagonia trait, rotation every 3k oil change or suffer cross rotation involved couple times. Quiet great O/R probably
use front locker more with AT. Wet pavement 2900# no brakes trailer load has pucker factor with that tread.
Recent DOT law says brakes on trailer 2k#+, Disc kit in my mind before knowing of law. Another way, 3 ply C worth trying
Disc kit narrower contact patch no problem size been wanting to try. Win win.
