Oil Cooler Gasket & Hose Replacement (Toyota 3.4L 5VZ-FE V6)

Hey Dudes,

This video will show you how to replace the Oil Cooler Hoses and also replace the Oil Cooler Gasket that seals the oil cooler to the engine block of your 3.4L 5VZ-FE V6 Engine. It's a bit of a pain in the ass due to the limited access, but I hope my video makes the job a bit more tolerable for you to complete.

This video footage is part of a much longer video that I made doing a complete coolant hose replacement on the 3.4L engine, but since so many people in the past have asked just about a video regarding the replacement of the oil cooler hoses and address an oil leak related to the oil cooler, I thought having a separate video was warranted.

I hope you Dudes like it. Happy Wrenching!

Timmy the Toolman

I can agree it is a real PITA to do the gaskets. And I have a 1 inch body lift to boot.

I agree as well!
After doing it once, I wouldn't replace the o-ring (gasket) unless it was leaking and I'd prefer to have it on a hoist.
