Trying to find dealership

Hi guys!

I just picked the final chapter to my runner journey a few days ago. I am trying to track down the original dealership in AZ to request any maintenance records they have on it. Both the carfax and the title don't say. Anybody know how I could find out where it was originally sold? PO is no longer with us.

Thanks for the time as always.

About the car:
Non running '00 5VZ 4x4 5 speed e-locker

You could try registering the vehicle on the Toyota Owners web page/app. Welcome Toyota Owners | Toyota.com

I think usually only vehicles that were serviced at a dealership after purchase will be found on Toyota's owners website, many aren't.

I think you're wasting your time with this endeavor. If a dealership serviced the vehicle, those services would show up in a Car Fax report. Services at private shops usually don't end up on a Car Fax report and DIY servicing clearly isn't going to be seen on a Car Fax report. This is why when I buy used vehicles, I like to purchase them from owners who kept records of the services that were performed.

Good luck with the rig.

I think you're right that it may be a waste, but I found the dealer anyway with the link above and emailed them. Only took a few minutes even though it probably won't yield much result.

Here's the FREAKING AWESOME news though. I went to my garage, swapped the EFI fuse / Relay and COR, still didn't start. Went to check the fuel pump plug connector with my multimeter and it came off a little too easy. So I put it back on and she fired right up! not bad for a car that hasn't been started since 2018!

Here she is!
