Scratching my head gasket..........

Looking for some constructive input on my current issue?

I've done a ton of work on our 2002 Sport it in the last year including the entire top half of the engine in June. The wife drives it and about a week ago she came home furious because it started running like dog crap on the way home. This after it running like a Swiss watch since June? I swapped out the #5 coil as that was the one that was misfiring. It started running on all cylinders again. I re-used the same spark plug in that cylinder after cleaning it. I took it for a drive and it now had a rough idle and I could smell coolant wafting off the crossover pipe connection when I revved the engine? I pulled it in to the garage last night and pulled all of the plugs. They all looked good except for the #5 plug which looked darker but it hadn't been run very long after being drenched in fuel due to the coil going bad. I put a pressure tester on the radiator last night and checked it this morning. It had dropped pressure by 2-3 psi? I turned the engine over using a starter button with the EFI relay removed and didn't get any coolant blowing out of the cylinders. I am going to do a compression test later today but at this point I am scratching my head. The machine shop that did the heads said there weren't any cracks found in the heads?

So I am wondering what to do? Obviously I need to do a compression test and possibly a leak down if the compression test is good. I am worried that maybe the heads are cracked but also wondering how that could be the case?
