Leaking brake line because of brake flare

My brake line is leaking fluid at the fittings between the soft lines at the front. There is some coating that appears to be coming off. How can I clean these up so that they'll be fluid tight?

The hoses I used were OEM from a reputable source, I'm confident it isn't the hoses fault.

If the line is easy to replace I would do so, otherwise you would need to cut it and reflare with the proper flaring tool/die set it if it's long enough.

I would replace the fitting and re flare. unless the fluid is on the treaded side of fitting then try to snug it down more or replace hose. it sucks but have had issues with new parts right out of the box before

I had someone replace the hard brake line from the caliper to the soft brake hose, fixed the problem. The part was only $15 from the dealer, if you bleed it yourself it's cheap to fix. I didn't have time to so it wasn't that cheap.

The new hose wasn't the problem. All I can say is don't overtighten the flare nuts, that could deform the flare.
