Bigger tire's & a lift,mean's....what?

If someone may be able to help me out with some advice,I'm a newbie at this, I have a 96'limited V6 4x4, I want to get the 16x7 1999 4runner Wheels, & add a 1 1/2 " lift using Daystar spacers. My question is if I go with this set up would I need to Adjust my Gear ratio ? The Differential? Anything?
Please Advice.

You can go 2.5" without worrying about a thing.

The only thing that could prompt changing gear ratios is changing the tire diameter (not the wheel size, just the tire dia). Also, some 'hardcore' off roaders will increase the ratio for improve torque at the wheels to help with low speed performance like when rock crawling.

if you run any tires bigger then 33" then you will need gears. lifting your truck will do nothing to the speed/gears.
