starter replacement

I've got a '97 3.4lt a/t... replacing the starter. I'm going in thru rt wheel opening... does the engine mount need to come off to drop the starter... or loosen & jack up that side off engine? anyone done this job? very tight fit!
Any advice is much appreciated!
I found another forum thad had specific instructions with pictures. It worked. still no fun!

Very easy to do. Remove the a/t dipstick tube, unbolt the hard brake line that is bolted to the inside of the frame on rt side, unbolt the starter and it comes right out the pass fenderwell. You will need to push the brake line out of the way which in no biggie since you can bend it right back. You will also need to wriggle the starter around a bit till you get the right position, it wont be difficult tho. Easy stuff

Just did this... finally. Pain in the ass to get the thing out. A wobbly & extension were key. I took it out the right wheel well like mentioned above. The local dealership had the parts I needed too.
