Cruise control quit working

My cruise control quit working. I checked under the hood and all the connectors looked fine. Is there a relay somewhere? Also shouldn't there be a light on the instrument cluster when it's on?

"CRUISE" in green

when you turn on the Cruise Control the green indicator will light up on the dash.

Are you remembering to click it on first or just trying to set it and hoping it will hold your speed? I frequently forget to click it on....

Not sure about relays or where to check on it....

Check your vacuum hoses. If you have 100k or more miles, there's a good chance they're brittle, cracked or stretched and not sealing.

Many a perfectly good part gets replaced because the vacuum system is not working properly due to $10 worth of hose being old.

It's good preventative maintenance anyway.

Yes,vacuum hoses are the first thing to check since 9 out of 10 times that's it so hopefully yours isn't number 10.

I looked for vacuum lines and it looked like everything was electronic. Just a cable that ran to the throttle body and then an electrical plug in to what looked like a servo motor from where the cable originated. Also when I try and turn it on before setting it, there is no green light that appears on the dash.
