Any factory wheels with the same offset / backspacing as 3rd Gen 4Runners?

Are there any factory wheels out there that have the same backspacing or offset as the 3rd Gen 4Runners?

I really like the Tundra's 17" split-spoke wheels, but I was told that they have a different offset to the 4Runners... ?

I don't believe that there are any factory Toyota wheels that are the same as a 3rd gen runner. There are, of course, a few different wheel choices within the 96-02 body style. The current body style 4Runner and Tacoma wheels have more backspacing, the previous model Tundra/Sequoia wheel has more backspacing... and then of course that went to that big stupid 5 lug after that.

I believe the 17's are 5" backspacing or more. The earlier Tundra's and Sequioa's had the same backspacing as 3rd Gen's (the 5-star rim, which are also found on Tacoma's).

I really couldn't see myself buying another set of Toyota rims to put on my truck. If I were to buy another set, I'd go with some good ol' black steel pro-comp wheels with 4 - 4.5" backspacing.

BTW: The new 5-lugs actually have a better load capacity and holds the wheel on better than the 6-lugs. The 100 LC's also have had 5-lugs. I wish that they built all of the Toyota's with 5-lugs from the first place.

These are actually the wheels I just put on my 4Runner about a few hours ago. Same backspacing, etc.
