unscrew the philips screw behind the door handle, take a flat head screw driver and pop off the back or front (i cant remember if you do it on the wrong side you will brake off a tab) of the power window switches, and disconnect the wires, with a few good tugs pull off the whole panel

and you should be finished,

you should be able to leave the window switch in and just reach behind the panel as its coming off and unplug the wires.

Once you know how to take the door panels off, it's super easy. I've taken mine off several times before and you'd be surprised how easy it is.

This page maybe of some benenfit to you on the removal process:

Both pns and htm are different types of sound deadening material. PNS is just a universal term that stands for peel-n-stick. It's typically very pliable...which makes it very easy to mold over uneven surfaces. HTM however, is not as easy to mold. It's better suited for large flat areas such as the roof.

Here's Bob's full write up on his sound deadening install in case you have not seen it (it contains multiple pages): Click Me. And of course, here's his home page full of all types of write ups: Click Me too

I covered my entire floorboard and cargo area with PNS that I purchased from McMaster-Carr.com. Part # 9640T2. This is the same stuff Bob used in that door panel write up I posted earlier.

To see pictures of my own ound deadening install, check out Post # 5 of my build thread: Click Me. This stuff makes a huge difference in blocking out road noise. I just need to get around to applying it to my doors and roof to make it even quiter in the cab than it already is.

There is a user goes by Mustang67408 on the tundrasolutions.com site that sent me a pdf file that showed how to remove the panels on my mothers Avalon. You could try him, he's a toyota mechanic and was very helpful to me in replacing the door actuators.
