Question Wheel question

I have a 2001 Tacoma Regular Cab 2.7liter with 16inch alloy wheels. I also have a 1999 3.4 liter 4runner with 15 inch alloys. My question is can I swap wheels and tires? I'm using the 4runner more than the tacoma now. Both are stock wheels, its just the tires on the tacoma are more aggressive tread. I dont want to spend the money on new tires, plenty of life left on both. From my understanding I can. The Tacoma is sitting on 265/70-16 and the 4runner is sitting on 225/75-15.

Oh yeah. Your right. Forgot about that. I was just thinking of putting the Tacoma rims on the 4runner.

basically yes. for a smaller wheel you dont need a big brakes. the bigger the rim, the more it makes sense to put on a braking system that can stop the weight of a bigger rim. so going from a 16 in wheel down to a, 15 would not clear the bigger calipers.
