I'd stay away from the dealer unless you want to spend $500 - $600 for one...
x2 on ebay and craigslist. Also check the for sale ads on here and yotatech.com. Also try your local salvage yards.
You can usually find them used for around $100 online. I sold mine a couple years ago for $100.
BTW, here's 2 on ebay both less than $100:
Grey: Item # 130309659697
Tan: Item # 180358455997

i always saw these threads and wondered how/why people needed new cargo covers. And then it happened. Mine broke. I was loading wood in the back and it was too much pressure. The passenger side slats that let it sit in the holder just snapped.
I am kicking myself now because i NEVER use it and instead of taking it in and out for loading and whatnot, i should have just left it out all together

Tan Cargo Cover
Hi Pikeman-
Do you still have the tan cargo cover? I would be interested in buying it if you still have it and it is in good condition.
Thanks!

I quoted you! Get over it! But just to say you're right. Not sure on the years, but some have a squarish (trapezoidal, actually) mount like my '99, and others are more rounded. They won't work in the wrong mounts, but if you have the correct mounts you can swap them in. Just look closely at the pictures to see if the ends are the same as the ones on your truck.

I thought I wanted a cargo cover when the PO of my first '99 couldn't find it in her boyfriend's basement.
Both my 2000 T4R's have the cargo covers.
Never use them.

I have a 1998 4 Runner...if you could let me know the condition of the cover and if it would fit my rig I would appreciate it.
Thanks!

1996-2000 have squared cargo cover ends.
2001-2002 have rounded ones.
I swapped my cargo panels in from a wrecked 4Runner, as well as brackets, then traded a gray cargo cover with driffter33 for his oak one.
It's always in use when it's possible.
