260,000 on my 99 SR5 4WD. I've owned it since 76,000 miles. No leaks and drives great. Gets Mobil 1 synthetic every 10K, air filter every 20K, timing belt and water pump every 90K....and transfer case/rear end oil change every so often(when I feel like it)
I've replaced the exhaust, one starter, two sway bar end links, one coil-pack, two sets of plug wires. I used all OEM parts.
Hopin it makes 300,000!

Just bought my 2000 SR5 automatic two weeks ago. I'm the second owner - original was an anal engineer-type(like me)who did all his own maintenance, mainly fluid changes. Had a water pump and belts done immediately, as it was due. Last week brought a dead battery, which I discovered was the ORIGINAL Toyota item. Only other work done was brakes and shocks. Mileage? 289,000, and the truck is as tight as new. This is my third T4R. Total miles for the three is more than half a million.

Just bought a 98 4runner SR5 4wd with 147,000 miles and it runs like new. It looks like it still has the original timing belt which I will be changing soon.

Miles
My 1992 4Runner SR5 V6 had 498,000 miles on it. I maintained it religiously, outside and inside. The headgaskets had been replaced three times. My current 1998 4Runner Limited has 162,000 and has had 0 problems.

A Toyota tragedy
98 4runner v6 auto 4x4
2nd owner
My camshaft threw a bearing at around 178k, and rebuilt the motor from a 5vze with 79,000 miles.

Mine is a 98 SR5 4x4. Just turned 170K this week.
Transmission started to show "clunking" recently when accelerating.

1998 T4R SR5 4x4 with 247K miles and still going strong!
Just make sure you change your fluids regularly and your timing belt on schedule. .
