i almost bought some like that from a guy off of craigslist that had them on his nissan, I test fitted them and they had a loose fit, not snug and tight at all. Gave them back since I didn't want to take the chance.

just get one w/ a remote start, then if you look out and see someone under the car just fire it up, lol ..... seriously though 90% of the alarm is the fact that the blinking LED on the dash lets them know that you have one, and that it would be easier to walk down the street and steel a cat off of a car that doesn't have one. I do still believe a shock sensor would pick up the exhaust being cut off, and set the alarm off.
