Just a heads up for all of you

If anyone has the color keyed large fender flares, and if those little rubber strips every need replacing, do everything in your power not to replace them. I sat at the body shop yesterday for 3.5 hours, and they have had my vehicle ALL DAY today for jut the strips in the front. 2 yrs ago i had the hood repainted, which required ordering new strips. when the paint shop reinstalled them, they were done incorrectly. I finally found a free friday afternoon to have them fixed, but apparently the process is VERY involved. The flares have to be removed, then the sheet metal cleaned, a special adhesive applied, the flares reinstalled with new clips...just is not worth it. luckily once i get the vehicle back in a couple hrs it'll have a new TRD cat back installed too. Im also looking for some OEM carpeted floor mats if anyone knows a good place to order to original real ones, not knock offs on ebay.

Thanks!

I'll keep this in mind if I ever get around to changing mines. They seem badly worn and somewhat cracked in some areas.

What color is your interior? When I bought my 00 w/ 15k on the odometer the first thing I did was pull the OEM mats and put rubber ones in. The OEM tan 4Runner mats have been in a bag in my attic ever since, they are basically brand new. Now I have an 02 w/ the grey interior so if yours is tan and you are interested in my mats let me know and I'd be happy to snap a few pictures. I think I only have the front and rear mats, I used the cargo mat. If you wanted them you could just make a resonable offer, I'd be happy to know someone was getting some use from them.
