Not quite sure yet. I was thinking maybe an exhaust to give it a little extra, but I'm not certain.
What do you guys think? Any suggestions? or should I say...
What would you do?

I'd start with a K&N intake and full exhaust... not sure on headers for the V6, I have the 4cyl. Catback, though, I'd go with Magnaflow.

An S/C on this beast would make it the most ultimate 4Runner... the most desirable. Well, in stock form at least... those are all the factory options that I would deem perfect.

PUBLIC APOPLOGY****
I did not mean that in any disrespectufl way at all. It was actually a compliment on How clean your rig looks and always is kept. I understand your truck is 2 wheel drive and got a kick out of your post on you and your buddy doughnuts. Simply put I do not keep my truck in as pristine condition as your becasue I would not want to wheel it if it was. So please accept this as an apology if you found any harm in my previous statement as none was intended.

I should apologize too... my reply was also uncalled for. Rough times lately... for some reason it just made me go off.
Let's all forget this ever happened and help Shoke here with his new ride.

As of now, I'm in my last year of college. (I'm on the 6 year plan hah.) So daily I drive from home to school and to work as well. Will definitely wheel this thing during the summers and breaks when I can. Tackling the roads less taken while fishing in Big Bear, local lakes around here, and Mammoth is what I look forward to the most! (In CA)
Thinking about doing the deckplate mod for now... Probably replace the bug shields as well and add some over the passenger windows.
Would LOVE to S/C it. But hey, I'm a "starving college student."

Shoke there are a few of us from So Cal and a few other starving college students, others of us are just suffering the economy. You can go so many places in stock form especially with the locker that you can afford to take your time and look at the board and some of our rigs and see which direction you want to go.
I would consider going with a nice A/T in 265/75 since you can fit that without a lift. Concur with either the deckplate mod or the K&N CAI. As far as lifts go you have plenty of choices from Spacer lift, OME, Toytec, and Sonoran Steel. I have a combination of All-Pro Offroad up front and the Sonoran Steel in back. I think best bang for the buck is the Toytec and most universal without going for the extreme. I am sure that can be debated. Best advice is search the threads on here and decide how you plan to use your truck and go from there towards your final build. Plenty of knowledgeable people on here in all areas.

So We raised the Highlander to day. I didn't wright down the color codes or part numbers but here are a few pics and measurements Before front and rear measured 35 1/4" after front was 38" and rear was 39 3/4" remember that this is with very worn 265/70/16 tires.
So rears are 97 LC 7.5 or 8 wrap front coils
these give you great stink bug look
rear shocks are trek masters witch have a cool little plate factory welded to the front of them to reinforce the shock tube from rock rash.
The fronts are tundra billies Semi adjustable set on the bottom grove with toytec top spacer and OME 880 coils
and a finished pic a bit of rake but things might settle a bit and the fronts can always be removed and reset to a higher setting
also installed toytec 1" diff drop kit the front set up gave him 2" more droop than the 99 tall boys.
Had a good time today. NOW lets get some tires on that thing and wheel it
Glad I could help out another fellow 4runner owner and his ride.
Almost forgot we also performed the constant power to the power outlets mod.
