Gobi released new 3rd gen racks
ive been waiting for gobi to finally do something for the 3rd gen. a bit expensive, but i love this rack, and may have to give in and get one eventually
http://www.gobitoyota.com/96-4runner.htm
4 light tabs on the front, 2 on the back, and you can get an extension that sits over the sun roof if you want. rated at 300lbs or 600 static (sleeping platform concepts.)
i love the stealth rack. sleek, holds quite a lot, mounts light seemingly easy.

WOE!!!!!! $1300???????? Bajarack baby. I've also asked bajarack if they will make a ladder specifically for the 3rd gen. Not too sure how the Gobi ladder would look with bajarack; width of materials, color finish, etc.

yea the baja racks are sick, but i would like a rack that extends the full length of the t4r, and with the gobi rack, you still have access out of your sunroof. the mega mule doesnt even fit 3rd gens apparently. and i already have a smaller basket, so if im gonna go big im gonna go big

Love the look of the Ranger rack, with the area for your spare and the ladder. Light bar looks real slick too!
