Talking Anyone have the Gobi roof rack?

I will be in the market shortly for a roof rack I am leaning towards the BAJA or this one by Gobi. I like how low the rack sit plus it spans over the whole roof witch is a plus for me & I also like how the rear ladder looks as well

Has anyone seen the GOBI rack in person ? or own it if some pictures & a review plz

it just hit the market pretty recently, so not many people are gonna have it. i personally love the stealth rack/ladder combination, but the $1.3k price tag for just the rack is slowing me down

The price is too outrageous.. I could have one built to almost the same specs for much less if I wanted to.

i have a yakamia and to be honest i'd prefer a baja as i like the higher sides, gives you more space to fit things in there and better side rails to keep things in the rack, the price on that thing is crazy for what it is, i'd keep looking and save the extra money for something else. IMO

i have the bajarack and love it. the sides are perfect height. the gobi, i think only the larger one would give you high enough sides, but the height of it may prevent you from getting into certain parking garages. that would scare me. and the price????? wow.

I not have the factory roof rack installed on my 4Runner & I am still thinking about buying this Gobi set up with the ladder. I would like to find pictures of members from this website with the Gobie roof rack or ladder installed on there 4Runner ;)
