Antenna Replacement...

So, I recently bought a new (used) deck unit, the Pioneer DEH-P5000UB, and it doesn't come with a wire connection to activate the antenna to go up and down. Now, I could just wire this to my amp signal, but also recently the mast itself has broke and doesn't go down all the way (plus I don't know if I want it going up everytime I use the deck and not everytime I use just the radio).

This has led me to look into other options for the antenna and I wanted to see if anyone else has tried some of the aftermarket antennas out there like the ones linked below:

Any thoughts or comments? As always, glad for y'alls support!

Don't even mess with getting the motorized unit replaced. They've all gone out on both of the 4Runners I've owned. Do the Tacoma whip mod.
