Black headlights and corners...yay or nay

ok so i've had the black healdlights for about a year now. i thought they were pretty cool when i first got them, but up until recently, i've been having second thoughts. heres a couple pics for comparsion

before the lights

with lights

lights and TJM

i like them way better with the TJM but i debating switching back to the OEM lights because they have a waaaay better beam pattern...plus, i just picked up some clear corners for $10. any thoughts?

im gonna try that again, i tried to delete the message but in case it didn't i had the wrong pic sorry
i like the black headlights with your black rims it definitely looks sick, but yeah being able to see in the dark is important too. you can always get more trail lights! I wonder if you throw your clear corners in and cover them up with some lamin-X so it still has the black out look? just a thought. here is a pic of what i did ( I think it will post)

i think not, they look cheap on your rig. I think you should go back to ome and put in clear corners. Especially if your not getting a good beam pattern

Im biased but I'd say OE headlights and clear corners. Beam pattern is more important than the "looks" of something cosmetically minor, like whether or not part of your headlights are blacked out, look "cooler" (subjective classification), etc etc etc., than stock. Not saying they look stupid, just saying that Ill put my safety before my looks in most cases.

I like the look on your truck but understand where you're coming from with the beam pattern. I need to switch out a brand new headlight due to an incorrect beam pattern myself. BTW, Depo brand headlights have an exact OEM beam pattern for everyone's future reference.

my runner is all black, clear corners and turns, 2000 headlights and I can see in the dark and it looks clean. I vote clear w/stock headlights, most everyone says the clear makes the black look black, not all scratched up like it is, haha.

sounds like a good excuse to get some more trail lights and such, you know some that you can run full time to compliment the blacked out headies.

yeah night shade is ghetto! IMO!! laminX actually takes effort its like a think tint film that you buy in a roll not a can, also you can get a lighter shade if you want to keep that black look. (sorry for those who have night shade) lol but i see your more after the beam pattern then the looks so this post was completly pointless my bad
