99 Dash Bezel in a 97?

Could i put this in my 97 , i know the vents are in a different spot and the clock is in the middle, but could i move my vent outlets around or is it too much work? The wiring i dont care about as much because i can handle that.

I'm gonna buy it, i'll make my money back selling my old bezel or the in-dash cupholders.

drinknmolson- you realize for you to do this you would ether have to stick it out with only the rear cupholders, or buy the 99+ center console.

I want to do the 99 center console mod you just finished, get the field monitor, center bezel would be nice for the extra power outlets. I am actually looking for a wrecked '99 with low mileage, possibly do enigne, interior, locker swap. I want to put 500k on the odometer!! I already added some cheezy cupholders to the passenger side along my shifter, they work and passengers never complain about them getting in the way.

let me know how it works for you.

I believe Ritzy Runner has a nice write up on this over on Yota Tech. He has a 98 but should be a similar conversion

are the defrost and ect buttons a totally different size in the 99 compared to ours? are the buttons attached to a plate that is removable in both or do they just come through a hole? I'm just wondering why we cant just move the defrost and hazard we have into the spots where the ect and defrost are on the '99??? It's really hard to tell looking at a picture and not being able to have it in my hand comparing it to existing.

there is no way I can justify spending my time with all those changes for a very minor difference in look and 2 extra power ports.

I think you should totally do it, take pics, do a nice write up on it, and have fun with it!! I'm gonna need to do a timing belt and remove my front spacers for some OME coils before I get to this mod.
