Just bought this and even though it says 1996-2002, it's just the 2002 version and is coincidentally the same electronic manual that emanualsonline sells...I know because I now own both. Ugh. So there's no info in it for manual transmissions and the wiring diagrams are geared specifically to 2002 vehicles. I'm sure a lot of it overlaps but I'll now be buying a 97 specific paper manual from eBay and trying to sell or return this one I bought from Rock Auto.

I have the 1997 manual in paper for the manual transmission. Yes I have a copy of the rock auto one and agree was extremely disappointment with it.

So I agree 100% do waste the money on that DVD.

I also bought a 2 day pass and have all the EWD (all years) and the collision manual for the 3rd gens.

What exactly are you after?

Not after anything specific right now. I was looking at the headlight wiring diagram because I'm just trying to understand how the harness works, so maybe I'm after that for now.

What did you buy a 2 day pass to? TIS? If so, can you download entire manuals through TIS?

No you can only download pieces.. I took me majorly a long time of those 2 days to get what I was after downloaded. Everything is in pieces. I got all the Technical bulletins, the collison repair manual as its the same for all the years of the 3rd gen and the EWD only.

You dont have enough time to download an entire FSM.. Your better off buy it in paper form.. As I have a complete set of 2001 and a 1997 FSM with the Manual Transmission for my fleet in book from bought. :-)

You CAN most definitely download the ENTIRE FSM; and 2 days is plenty of time to do it.

Done it a couple times; and will be doing it again either tomorrow or Friday.

I can screen record the stuff if ya need me too.

Plus; you can get a 30 day subscription for 90 bucks.

If you cant do it in 30 days; then there’s something wrong.
