hey-

that is a good article....thanks for posting...

imo, the 3rd gen not only performs awesome, but looks awesome...the lines are just right...not too fancy...

that's why I am hunting for an 01-02 Sport...instead of the 4th gen...would love their electronics and the 4 Liter V6 though!

I put 205,000 miles on my '90 2nd gen and loved every minute of it. Sold it to a friend and last I heard it had over 375,000 miles on it.

I put 152,000 miles on my '00 3rd gen and loved every minute of it. It certainly was a performance improvement over the 2nd gen. Sold it to a friend at work because I got a great deal on a 4th gen.

I've only put a little over 16,000 miles on my '08 4th gen and am loving every minute of it. It took a bit for me to like the lines of the 4th gen over the 3rd gen but I do. Also, my 4th gen's V6 is much better at towing than either of my previous T4R's and is more refined with a much more pleasing ride.

But I wouldn't pass up a deal on a 3rd gen if I needed another for a DD in a lot of snow.
