LED lights: Turn Signals and Corners
Hey guys, I just ordered some clear corners and bumpers this weekend and cannot wait to get them in the mail.
I would like to get some LED lights for the bumper and corners.
First, should I get these for the turn signals: 2 AMBER 7W HIGH POWER 20 LED PARKING/TURN SIGNAL BULBS 7443 7440
Or should I get these: V-LEDS AMBER 20 LED HIGH POWER TURN SIGNAL BULBS 7443-SACK?
Also, WHITE or AMBER colored LEDs for the corners? Opinions?
Thanks

I purchased a set of LEDS from V-LEDS for my clear corners but was disappointed because it looks tacky when my HID lights are on and the aren't matched

Well what would kind of bulb do you guys think should go in my clear corners?
I'm waiting to get my 8000k hid kit right now, and I'm sure I will not be able to make the clear corner lights match up very well with the headlights.
mistaj0hnny, it looks like your clear corners are turned off completely with the headlights on. Did you just give up on the clear corner bulb idea?
I wanted to put some kind of bulb in the clear corners but have no idea what I should put in there.
I need some more suggestions on what to do... What have other people done?

What color do you have bootown? Do you think white LEDs would look good with 8000k headlights?

amber leds from v-leds
not hid's mind you
but as far as turn signals its going to be much more tricky, but i built up a kit for the front and rear turn signals, plus the appropriate electronic flasher unit.

Just trying to help make the mod go smoothly....
What are you going to do about the blinker? The reduced load of the LED will cause it to flash really fast as if a bulb was burned out. In general you can add resistors or change the flashers (turn signal and 4-way). More here: Blinker/Warning Fix
Edit: Looks like SilverBullet01 and I were typing at the same time

Awesome... I know about this issue due to non-3rd gen experience. I just didn't want Rob to get the new lights and have not work.
I just read those posts. The flasher with jump wires look easy enough. Great info. Thanks
Poor Zandro! The roof collapsing on that sweet diesel Runner.
