Power steering/steering rack question (need help fast)

SO i changed the bushings on the steering rack and put it all back together and started it and the power steering foamed up and wouldnt turn that easy. i took the 2 metal lines off on the steering rack i just let them drain did all the work and hooked them back up and filled the p/s back up with the lines put in. did i need to wait for some to come in the lines then hook them up? or what did i do wrong.

ALSO i should add that the 2 lines that run into the steering rack, before i took them out they didnt screw in all the way now they did? i dont see why i tried to like push the line in but it wouldnt so i just tightend them down all the way.

Get that blue crap out of there. Pull all the lines you can and at lowest points you can and put some Dexron ATF in there like Elton said. Any Dexron above II is ok. Red and blue make purple so I would keep draining and adding fluid until it's nice and red again.

i was thinking im going to remove the 2 lines on steering rack and let them drain and let new fluid run and try to screw em back in while fluids comeing out. i hope that works. i dont really think that fluid would make it all stuff and whining steering and make if foam up?

Totally agree you need to use Dexron. But the foaming suggests to me you got some air in the system and it needs to be bled out. I think the old search function will show you how that's done.
