Finally, after about 8 years of driving my 4runner daily, she gets a long deserved rest.
Last week I went and bought my new DD...
Just thought I would introduce everyone to the new family member
Edit: Removed dead link to pic... I sold this thing, it was not what I expected at all...
Here is the link to a few more pics of my 00 Prelude SH
https://picasaweb.google.com/Duhocke...eat=directlink
I also put up a post on PreludePower journaling my search

Original owner! That's awesome! Happy Anniversary! Go out and treat the gal to a nice quart of oil.

Breaking stuff is always a great excuse to upgrade! Congrats on the added traction in your future.

Nice Prelude! Definitely glad to read it's an SH - they're super cool in my books (loving Honda along with Toyota).
It was either a Prelude SH or the Civic SiR I picked up (and currently love) but gas prices leaned me towards the Civic. 28mpg average, with spirited driving, I can't complain!
Congrats on the upgrades - gotta love it when breaking stuff results in goodies!

Dude, your 4runner is sicknasty. I am definitely stealing your fishing rod holder idea. I have been trying to figure out a better way to carry mine than sliding it into the gap in the middle of the back seats.

So, The 4.10 ring and pinion gears I got to replace mine were shot also... so I made a tough decision and decided since I had it apart,
I would tear into it a bit more, pull the 3rd member and regear the back and the front while I had the front in pieces...
heres another pic with a bit better light
and while pulling the axle shafts and 3rd member, I found this,
broken upper link...
Im still debating on gearing whether to go to 4.56 or 4.88.
here is my poll thread on my regearing questions
Gearing for 33's and 35's
more pics to come as I get things put back together.

Welcome to the "broken upper control arm club". I have broken two.
Mark which way the two pieces go back together, pop them off and bring it over and we can weld it back together.

Make sure you document the trutrac install! Nice build, and good luck getting the truck back on the road. At least it waited to break till you didn't need it to work, lol.
