Door-open idiot light?

One of the things I liked about my Subaru Outback was that it had a display on the dashboard that would alert me when one of the 5 doors was not fully closed or latched.

I didn't think the 4runner had one, but driving up to Casper last week, the sun shined on the instrument panel and revealed what appears to be exactly this kind of light: A graphic of the vehicle with the doors open.

But I've never seen it light up. Was this light only "installed" on the Limited models? Or is it possible I have a light out?

Does anybody with a 99 SR5 have the door-open warning on their dash?

I have one. chances are it is just burned out. Another way to tell if the dome light doesnt go off, it could mean a door is not latched to a degree.

My 98 SR5 has one and it works, but is just generic and doesnt point out the specific door.

I have a 99' SR5 106k miles on it, the light still goes on. It might just be a burnt bulb.
