Alternator Replacement

The alternator is going bad on my 96 T4R. Is this an easy swap out? I am no master mechanic, but am not afraid of taking on a job either.

Anyone have a step-by-step write up on this?

Don't have a write up , but after you get the belt off, it's just bolted on the engine (driver side right under the oil cap). Very easy spot. Easier than the starter IMO.

If you go to Autozone and look at the repair manual by Haynes, and look up alternator, it'll tell you how to remove it with some pictures.
