CAUTION!! The first post on this page has a huge green tab that says FREE DOWNLOAD! Don't do it!!
NCTTORA has taken down their free FSM manuals so the above link is no longer good. In my desperation I fell for the green thing without thinking. I used the search tab and that's what I got. It downloads useless toolbars that will take over your browser. A few minutes with CCleaner and I think it's gone... No this is not an ad for CCleaner...
Beneath my post is an ad that says "Download Your Manual" I'm sure it's more of the malicious same. It will stall your computer.

The Taco guys have our 4Runner manual up on-line still. This link was working as of three minutes ago:

This is the one I use, which I like because it has a clickable table of contents:

The issue with the FSM that you're going to get online is that it's for a 2002 4Runner.
Which means no info for the 2.7, MT, J-shift t-case (With or With out CLD), TPS replacement, and a whole host of other issues.
My suggestion would be to go to this site, and download the FSM for YOUR SPECIFIC year 4Runner.
It costs 20 for 2 days, but you can literally download EVERYTHING for EVERY Toyota.
