Anyone here replace a power antenna? The mast broke on mine wondering how difficult it is?

All you have to do is take out the antenna mast socket (the chrome thing that goes around the mast's base)... use some needlenose pliers and just turn it.

Take out a few clips that hold the inner fender on, you can reach in and get a white bag. Inside is the antenna and yeah. Take it apart and it's pretty obvious.

I replaced mine when I bought my 4Runner cuz it was bent. I saw the Taco Whip mod but I hate antennae that show, I like it retracted since I never use the radio.

Yep, sounds about right. I broke a few but no biggie. You can go about the top ones through the engine compartment.

All the plugs I needed to remove were accessible from behind. Just squeeze the back of the plug and push it through. No plugs were harmed in this process
