1999 SR5 black mud gaurd conflicting part #'s
I am going to remove the running boards from my 1999 SR5, but want to get the mudgaurds first. I am getting two conflicting part #'s from online and from the dealer:
PT413-35966DF
PT413-35966PF
and
76621-39395
76622-39395
Its just for the front. Which one is correct?

PT413-35966PF
Just ordered the Driver side about a month ago. Fits perfect

But you have a Highlander with fender flares and cladding. My '99 4Runner SR5 5speed has neither of those and my parts list shows the other numbers for my rig. If you have no flares, chrome bumpers and no side cladding, 76621-39395 and 76622-39395 are probably what you want. Which is the dealer number and did they go from the VIN the way I did? I have flares, but no cladding.
I thought the cladding only came on Limited models with the painted style flares?
My flares are unpainted textured black.

No cladding on my runner. Just the textured plastic flares.

Sorry, your photo is misleading; I thought I saw cladding on the lower doors. I guess it's a reflection. But I think it is the flares that make the difference in the mudguard fitment. Flares were an option on the normal SR5 and standard on the Highlander. So if the OP has flares and colored bumpers(Sport package), he should use your number, if he doesn't, he should use mine (and jsmithjr732's). Rurunner, I suggest you try using your VIN at www.toyodiy.com and see what you get. Here is more data on the trim packages available: Jason's site
I'd still like to know which number came from dealer and if they used the VIN, because that would probably be the right number. You need to use the VIN, or match trim levels, to get this one right.

FYI, I work for an auto collision company, so my numbers are from our product. They're for a 1999 SR5 without any add-on packages (convenience, sport, etc.)
Place you buy them from should be able to confirm. If you need a second opinion, PM me your VIN and I'll look.

How do you know if you have any add on packages? Mine is an SR5, but has rear diff lock and textured flares.

The running boards are off and the mud guards are on, fit like a glove.
Yea, I will try and get some pics up at some point. Still working on some exterior appearance adjustments. 4runner came with the gold package and gold pinstriping
Looks pretty meaty w/o the boards and the 265/75 Duratracs.

Please post some pics up. I'm looking to ditch my boards but need some front mud flaps first. I think your trim is the same as mine so I want to see what it looks like. Thanks.
