Rear seat won't fold down

The rear-left seat (bottom portion) won't pull forward when I'm attempting to use the pull-strap. The rear-right seat works fine. Anyone ever have this problem?

I had to use a flat ruler slid between the seat and back to release the bottom, then I removed the latch!

Mine is tricky sometimes. I have to pull the tab in different directions before I find the right place for it to release. Sometimes I get mad and yank really hard, it always comes loose then, but I usually loose my balance end hit my head on something!

Both of mine would get stuck, so i just kept pulling until the little plastic piece with the strap broke. It works perfect now.
